Our approach
Improving health & wellness through lifestyle medicine. Meeting clients at their current state and working with them to identify and address specific health & wellness needs through intensive lifestyle behavioral change therapy.

Our aim is to find the root cause and assist in the treatment of lifestyle related chronic diseases such as obesity, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, substance abuse, etc. We focus on the six pillars of lifestyle medicine including nutritious eating, increasing movement, restorative sleep, eliminating stress, avoiding risky substances, & improving social support.
Ultimately we strive to help clients set and achieve personal goals focused on sustaining a healthier state of living both physically & mentally to improve each client’s overall health.
Lifestyle change is hard and it should never be a journey you have to travel alone.
Providing you with a safe space to focus on YOUR wellness needs.
Client sessions take place in-person either in our soothing office environment with fully private rooms or “walk-and-talk” sessions that will take place as we stroll through beautiful downtown Huntsville, AL, weather permitting of course. Group sessions or tele-health visits are also an option after your initial in-person session has been completed.

Our #1 focus is working with clients to find & treat the root cause of their chronic disease, which often comes directly from their lifestyle habits. We believe that achieving greater health requires hard work, and comes from much more than just adding another medication. At LWHC we assist clients so they may transform how they participate in their own care and work towards a greater state of well-being.
Over a series of sessions, we work through unique, intimate, & personalized healthcare plans focused on lifestyle behavioral change. Together we acknowledge & address the “why” that is standing in your way by working through the six pillars of lifestyle medicine. Our practices are rooted in helping clients raise themselves up to achieve greater health, by offering the time, understanding, and knowledge needed to improve & sustain an overall improved state of living.
